Security Check collects your checks politely and with tact so that your customer will not only continue to shop with you, but will also pay for the NSF check. Security Check will provide all clients with the highest level of customer service possible.

Data Entry

Data Entry is the first step in the check collection process. The department currently employs fifteen to twenty operators who work 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., processing thousands of checks per month.

All operators attend a two-day training workshop where they learn the various methods of accurately entering the check information. After batch approval, other operators specifically trained in proofing and correcting errors authorize the batch of checks for collection. This step helps to maintain the accuracy within the department and company.

Security Check uses imaging technology to digitally scan each check authorized for collection. This system allows quick, on-line viewing of check copies to verify any piece of information on the original check…check amount, store location, which employee accepted the check for payment, and so on.

One of the advantages of using Security Check's services is that you can consolidate all your business needs into one package: All servicing, data entry, remittance processing and collection are handled in our corporate office in Oxford, Mississippi. Any time you need assistance, you will always be able to reach us. We do not use electronic voicemail. You will never hear "Press 1 to hold until your hair goes gray." Your call will be answered by a courteous receptionist and transferred to an attentive representative who will assist you.

Accounting

Accounting is a vital part of any business. Security Check's accounting department is staffed by four full-time and two part-time employees supervised by the Chief Financial Officer. All daily, weekly, and monthly accounting and cashiering functions are handled in this area. Our cashiers process daily payments and assist in mailing client month-end remittance statements and checks. Our bookkeeper records all transactions and provides financial statements to our joint venture partners.

The collection of a check is a multifaceted process; it isn't complete until the check amount and service fee are fully paid and accounted for by this department.

Our predictive dialing system enhances our ability to reach the optimum number of check writers and provides greater quality control with the addition of advanced monitoring capabilities.
